A 20mm f/0.95 lens may now be purchased for under $430

Recently, Zyhongyi Optics released a super-wide angle f/0.95 lens that is ideal for photographers who capture landscapes or buildings.

A new ultra wide-aperture prime lens for APS-C Sony, Nikon, Canon, and Fujifilm mirrorless cameras has been unveiled by Zyhongyi Optics. For photographers who specialize in interiors, landscapes, or architecture, as well as videographers searching for a lightweight, cost-effective lens, the manual focus Speed master 20mm f/0.95 is an ideal choice. In Japan, it is already available for purchase, costing the equivalent of $430/£330/AU$655.

Wide-angle lenses are usually employed for photographs of buildings, both inside and out, and for landscapes. However, I also love to use them for fashion photography as a portrait photographer. Although it may not be the first lens that comes to mind, you can use it to take some incredibly artistic pictures. It is possible to capture full-body portraits at unusual angles while retaining a significant amount of background, which is ideal for editorial photography.

This lens’s f/0.95 aperture makes it ideal for low-light work, producing sharp shots with minimal noise even when using a high shutter speed or raising the ISO sensitivity above 6,400.

Its 13 components, divided into 8 groups, including 4 ultra-high refractive index lenses, 1 ED lens, and 1 aspherical lens that work to lessen distortion and flare. Additionally, it features a 9-bladed aperture that, when shot wide open, produces a rounded, smooth bokeh. Photographers may produce dynamic, attention-grabbing photos by manipulating the size of distant objects to appear smaller and nearby items larger, all at a minimum shooting distance of 0.3 metres.

The lens has a sturdy construction because it is composed of premium materials. Although some lenses around this price still feel quite plasticky, the lens barrel is ribbed to make it easier to hold and is generally recognised as being very sturdy.

Although it lacks autofocus, it is more expensive than the Viltrox AF 20mm f/2.8 for full-frame Sony cameras, which only costs $160/£125/AU$245 but has a higher quality appearance and is a quicker lens that produces smoother blurred backgrounds.

It will definitely catch the attention of photographers searching for an inexpensive, wide-angle lens because not many lenses in this price range can shoot at such a high speed, especially for Canon RF, Nikon Z, Fujifilm X, and Sony E mount.
